I used our camera to film my kids football games - stopping and starting in between plays. however, each battery would not make it through an entire game, causing me to miss capturing the end of the second game on film. I moved up to this mac daddy battery - which will last all day. I have never come close to running out of charge during a football day. The only downer to the battery is the size... it is a third the size of the camera and takes up a good bit of space in the carrying case. So you have to pick your pain point. I want the battery life so I don't complain about the size.... Love It!

JVC BN-VG121US Lithium Ion Data Battery Pack for 2010 Everio and Picsio Camcorders

I wanted a battery as a back up for my Everio camcorder. This one lasts so much longer than the battery that came with my camera. I find that I keep it in my camera and use the original as a back up. I haven't kept track of the time that it lasts in between charges since I start and stop over long periods of time. I will say, however, that it probably has gone well over the expect 2 l/2 hours. Anyway, it's a nice little size and works great!

Purchased this as the battery that came with the device recorded for only about 45 minutes. I just wished I had this larger battery while at Disney World as I was running out of battery constantly. This is well worth the $$$.
